Snivy ( Tsutarja ) is the most popular of  the three Pokemon characters that can be chosen as a starter Pokemon of the Isshu region in the new Nintendo DS Pokemon Black & Pokemon White video game.  Tsutarja is a reptilian Grass Type pokemon and a Grass Snake Pokemon Species.  It has the ability to gain power and agility by absorbing energy from the sun. If it starts to lose its energy, Snivy's tail will droop.  At level 17, Snivy will evolve into Servine (Japanese: Janovy) which will then evolve into Serperior (Japanese: Jalorda) at level 36.
