Dry Bones (Karon in Japanese) is also known as Skeleton Koopa because he is a koopa troopa made of bones. If he is attacked, he will collapse for a short while and then regain his composure again. Dry Bones can be defeated using a rainbow star or Bullet Bill.
An Octoguy is another enemy of Mario that will spit rocks. They are similar looking to an Octogoomba, but have lighter pink spots. Octoguys are rare in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They can only be found in Boulder Bowl Galaxy, Honeyhop Galaxy, and Shiverburn Galaxy's Prankster Comet.
An Octoboo (Terebou in Japanese) is an enemy that normally found floating around in groups encircling a certain area. A Star Spin can be used to make Octoboos transparent.
An Electrogoomba (Takobo in Japanese) is a very common enemy and will spit rocks at Mario in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They can be destroyed by a spin or jump onto them. Once they are destroyed, they will leave behind a coin or Star Bits.
Jack O' Goomba is a Goomba wearing a pumpkin mask One of the main areas that a Jack O' Goomba can be found is in haunted galaxies. It will attempt to burn Mario by directing blue flames at him. Mario can destroy the pumpkin mask and turn Jack O' Goomba into a normal Goomba by Ground Pounding them.
