In the Super Mario Series, The Big Boo is much larger than the normal size Boo ghost!  This makes it much more difficult for Mario to get past Big Boo.  Mario might need to spin jump, fly, or jump off of a trampoline in order to get past the enormous ghost.  The Big Boo ghost is also known as Atomic Boo.  The Big Boo first appeared in Super Mario World and has also appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of Seven Stars, Yoshi's Safari, Paper Mario, Super Mario Adventures, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Party, and many more!
